How we work

Editorial standards

Our aim is to make useful information easier to understand without making it sound more certain than the evidence allows.

What readers should expect

We prefer primary and official sources where available, keep dates visible, distinguish facts from interpretation, and state meaningful limitations. Where a rule or product detail can change, readers should check the current source before acting.

What we avoid

We do not use testimonials we cannot substantiate, promise investment outcomes, or present general information as individualized financial, tax, pension or immigration advice.

Corrections and updates

If an error is found, we record the correction and update the relevant page where appropriate. Pages may show a published or modified date; the date does not by itself guarantee that every underlying rule remains current.
